My stained glass

“Sympathy Series”

originated early in 2011 as I reflected upon our 8-year war involvement in Iraq & the Iraqi civilian experience. I have tried to imagine myself coming of age as a young woman in a war-torn homeland, and I cannot. This is my heartfelt sympathy, expressed as art, for what they have endured and my hope for better days to come.
